DIY: Homemade Wood Butter--8 ounces of pure beeswax pellets and 32 ounces of mineral oil. Melt your beeswax in a container sitting in boiling water, and warm up the mineral oil just a bit so it'll mix. Then mix the two together, pour into jars, and set aside to cool and set up. Rub it onto your wooden utensils and cutting boards, or even scratched up chair legs and furniture.

Winter sore throat "tea"- In a jar combine lemon slices, organic honey and sliced ginger. Close jar and put it in the fridge, it will form into a "jelly". To serve- spoon jelly into mug and pour boiling water over it. Store in fridge 2-3 months
