    I have used Oxiclean powder to get nail polish out of clothes and I mean it was set in nail polish. I was using it to get a bad stain out of something else and it took my nail polish off my nails and I thought I would try it on a shirt I had ruined but had been wearing as a shirt to bed. Came right out. WOOO HOOO. I would be afraid the Acetone would ruin the carpet. It could unglue the fibers from the backing in cheaper carpets. Be careful with it.
