These books have been banned at some point in time and yet include some essential stories that I think make them extremely noteworthy. I own many of these and plan to encourage my kids to read at some point in their life.

Abba Abba, by Anthony Burgess, tells the story of the last months of John Keats’ life, which he spent dying of consumption in Rome. Burgess was a bit obsessed with Keats, which shows in this short little book.
