We remember poet Edgar Allan Poe, who died on October 7, 1849. Are you a fan of his spooky tales? When the famous and most creative poet Edgar Allen Poe was on his death bed,he apparently in a state of delirium whispered the word 'Croatoan' shortly before his desmise.

He is known with his hard life conditions. Anabel Lee is one of his best poem and my favourite. The poem drows from his real life and composed beautiful and innocent love story.

How Poet Emily Dickinson Continues to Inspire
Dickinson Hope, Dickinson Poet, Dickinson Poems, Emily Dickinson, American Poets, Amazing People In History
Emily Dickinson 1830-1886 Emily Dickinson was a poet with an exceptional ability to distill “amazing sense” from “ordinary meanings.” Her poetry is now considered among the finest in the English language.
Emily Dickinson 1830-1886. Mom lived only a few months after my daughter was born, but she thought the name Emily very unusual and "ahead" of the curve. Little did we know it would become one of America's most popular... I named Emily after two of my literary Emilys---Emily Dickinson and Emily Bronte. Can you tell mom was an English major?
emily dickinson poems | I did my thesis on her poems and how they are edited in various printings. Punctuation can redefine the world.
Emily Elizabeth Dickinson (1830 – 1886) was an American poet. Born in Amherst, Massachusetts, she lived a mostly introverted and reclusive life. Dickinson's poems are unique for the era in which she wrote; they contain short lines, typically lack titles, and often use slant rhyme as well as unconventional capitalization and punctuation. Many of her poems deal with themes of death and immortality, two recurring topics in letters to her friends.
Emily Dickinson: Emily Dickinson was an influential poet whose style was unlike anyone else's. Dickinson was an innovator, who used unconventional techniques, such as short lines, slant rhyme and unusual capitalization and punctuation that garnered both attention and criticism. During the late 19th and early 20th century, critics denounced Dickinson's individual style and literary prowess, but later praised her originality and talent as a pre-modernist poet.

Love and Math: The Heart of Hidden Reality Book Cover
Love and Math The Heart of Hidden Reality (Book) : Frenkel, Edward : "Love and Math tells the two intertwined stories of mathematics and the adventure of one man in learning it. The result is a story about how he became one of the twenty-first century's leading mathematicians, working on one of the biggest ideas to come out of mathematics in the last 50 years: the Langlands Program. As Frenkel proves, a mathematical formula can be as elegant and beautiful as a painting, a poem, or a piece of music. And the process of creating new mathematics is just that, an artistic pursuit--a deeply personal experience, which requires passion, dedication, and love."--Provided by publisher.

Since his debut in 1951 as The Catcher in the Rye, Holden Caulfield has been synonymous with "cynical adolescent." Holden narrates the story of a couple of days in his sixteen-year-old life, just after he's been expelled from prep school, in a slang that sounds edgy even today and keeps this novel on banned book lists.
