These self portraits by some of the most famous authors' in history are fascinating, incredible works of art. Clearly this lot were oozing so much talent they simply couldn't contain it... Being this talented in something other than what you're famous for is simply unfair! #SylviaPlath #HunterSThompson #EdgarAllanPoe #TheBellJar #EECummings #MarkTwain #DHLawrence #AllenGinsberg ...BTW,Please Check this out: http://artcaffeine.imobileappsys.com
Sylvia Plath’s poetic talent should go unquestioned, but as Plath fans will know, she first intended to become a visual artist, and some of her earliest work remained hidden away in the family attic until 1996. In a collection of Plath’s work entitled Eye Rhymes: Sylvia Plath’s Art of the Visual, which features sketches, photographs, and portraits—such as this brooding 1951 self-portrait—that represent Plath’s work while an art student at Smith College.
Sylvia Plath self portrait. I find this very revealing.

BLACK IS BEAUTIFUL, AS WELL AS WHITE, RED, YELLOW, AND BROWN!!!! GOD'S CREATION OF MAN IS PERFECT IN ANY COLOR!
Afros, locks and naturals – all symbols of a powerful movement that began with the word of John S. Rock, an African-American abolitionist who was the first black person to be admitted to the bar of the Supreme Court of the United States. Rock would paraphrase the term “Black is Beautiful” during a speech back in 1858. Some 100 years later, African Americans would begin a movement illustrating Rock’s words.

Black is beautiful From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Black is beautiful is a cultural movement that began in the United States of America in the 1960s by African Americans. It later spread to much of the black world, most prominently in the writings of the Black Consciousness Movement of Steve Biko in South Africa. Malcolm X was very influential, he stood up for what he believed was right and was his right as human being. Secially as a black man.
Walter would love to socialize with Malcom x because they would both agree that black power would need to be enforced. Walter is tired of working for his white boss and would love the be the boss of his own business.

A Twitter fan tweeted this awesome shot I shared last year of the one and only Malcolm X in Chicago in 1961. The picture was taken by the legendary photographer Eve Arnold who died on January 4, 2012 at the age of 99, just three months short of her 100th birthday. Im pretty sure this is my favorite picture of Malcolm X.
