A Rose for Emily William Faulkner Short Story Common Core Literature

Ready to take your students to the next level? Experience the fascinating Gothic Short Story -- William Faulkner's "A Rose for Emily" in a rigorous, dynamic and visually pleasing way! 85+ Pages of Resources. Perfect for Halloween!

I really would like to spend the week of Halloween teaching about symbols, foreshadowing, atmosphere and more in writing using short horror stories by acclaimed authors (age appropriate of course) --- on Halloween (or the Friday before Halloween) having a scary-story telling class... where we sit in a campfire-like circle and read aloud stories I select with the lights low. It would be a fun way of teaching a lot of aspects of fiction writing. Hopefully I can do it.
