Here are 3 worksheets to help your students learn how to use the dictionary effectively.

Vocabulary 2. "Vocab Kite." The child is given a new vocabulary word and a dictionary. Using the pre-assembled kite bow, they will write down their word, guide words, the definition, the page number it was found on, and an illustration of the word. The kites can then be hung around the room so that students can see and review the words.
