Beautiful Russian hand made figures

POSTCARD, CA 1910, RUSSIA ~~ A nice imitation of medieval age: ABC-book with ancient Cyrillic Russian letters and a boy in the suit of Russian old noble (=boyarin). In 1900-1910 The Romanovs brought a fashion to everything that could remind of the Ruriks, the Tzar dynasty with a 700-year history in Russia; this was caused by several crises and fall of The Romanovs' popularity.

Embroidery on linen- this is apparantly Russian, its very similar to Buzsak style but black rather than blue

Russian textiles - a beautiful pattern. Love the way the darker tips on the ornamental leaves makes it appear as though they underneath flower clusters.

There was a chocolate bar in Russia that had this picture on it... it was awesome!

The Marcel Breuer B114 Stool was first shown in the Thonet catalogs of the 1920s. The Thonet company subsequently produced a variation of this stool and credited Emile Guillot with the design.

The "Corner Ladder" easily folds up so as to fit into quite small spaces. Unobtrusive until needed!
