Sea Hero (foaled 1990) is an American Thoroughbred. He won the 1993 Kentucky Derby as an almost 13:1 longshot & the prestigious Grade I Travers Stakes at Saratoga Race Course. He was retired to syud at age 4. He is the sire of 15 stakes winners. In the paddock at Saratoga Race Course in Saratoga Springs, NY, & circled by the horses going to post for each & every race, stands a bronze statue of Sea Hero. In 2011, Sea Hero became the oldest living Kentucky Derby winner.

It officially opened in 1875, and held the first Kentucky Derby and the first Kentucky Oaks in the same year.
