Assigned to 192nd Ordnance Battalion, 52nd Ordnance Group, 20th Support Command, Fort Bragg, North Carolina. Died in Ghazni Province, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when he encountered an enemy improvised explosive device. SSG. Holman was formerly a member of the U.S. Army Golden Knights Parachute Team.

Army SPC. Tyler J. Orgaard, 20, of Bismarck, North Dakota. Died Decembere 3, 2012, serving during Operation Enduring Freedom. Assigned to 818th Engineer Company, 164th Engineer Battalion, North Dakota Army National Guard, Williston, North Dakota. Died in Lashkar Gah City, Helmand Province, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when enemy forces attacked his unit with an improvised explosive device.

Army Sgt. 1st Class Pablo A. Ruiz Died May 24, 2015 Serving During Operation Freedom’s Sentinel 37, of Melbourne, Florida, died May 24 in Bagram, Afghanistan, in a noncombat-related incident. He was assigned to Group Support Bn, 3rd Special Forces Gp, Fort Bragg, North Carolina.

Army Capt. Aaron D. Istre Died March 24, 2012 Serving During Operation Enduring Freedom 37, of Vinton, La., assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 13th Sustainment Command (Expeditionary), Fort Hood, Texas; died March 24 in Kabul, Afghanistan.

Army MSG. Gregory R. Trent, 38, of Norton, Massachusetts. Died August 8, 2012, serving during Operation Enduring Freedom. Assigned to 4th Battalion, 3rd Special Forces Group (Airborne), Fort Bragg, North Carolina. Died in Bethesda, Maryland, from wounds suffered July 31 in Baktabad, Afghanistan, when enemy forces attacked his unit with small-arms fire.
