Path of the Gladiator - Roma Italia
PATH OF THE GLADIATOR * Underground of the Flavian Amphitheater in Pozzuoli (near Naples) Italy. The Flavian Amphitheater dates to Flavian times, and is the 3rd largest in the world. It was likely built by the same architects who previously constructed the Roman Colosseum. The elliptical structure measures 147 x 117 meters (482 x 384 feet), with the arena floor measuring 72.22 x 42.33 meters (237 x 139 feet). It`s functional architecture is a most excellent example of the exceptional technological levels reached in the area : it has underground spaces, wide stairwells, corridors, a contraption to lift the wild beasts cages and it could even be flooded with water to reenact naval battles. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flavian_Amphitheater_(Pozzuoli)
Path of the Gladiator - Rome, Italy, province of Rome Lazio........a beautiful, amazing, tragic and awful place. Being there you can almost hear the animals roar, fell the terror from the prisoners and taste the brutality and evil. But a beautiful and important visit when in Rom, to remind us about the evil humans contains as wall. The architecture is amazing.

Train Track Adventure
The view from here is gorgeous. It's so quiet and beautiful. A perfect place to relax.
I leave the house early in the morning and climb the fence that should have electricity flowing through it. My brother and sister won't worry about me because I do the all the time. I start walking across the old abandoned train track. I sit on the edge and look down at the flowing creek. I wonder what would happen to my siblings if I fell. I wouldn't have to go into he games but I wouldn't be able to protect my family. Our father works to much to take care of them so it's my job since our mother passed away giving birth to Jonathan, our brother. No one would be able to train Emily, my sister, like I have been doing the last year since she was entered this year. She is learning with a knife. I'm not as good with a knife as a bow but I know enough to defend myself. I didn't think she could handle a bow so a knife is the next best thing. It is starting to get late so I have to head back because today is the most dreaded day of the year. Reaping day. Everyone hopes it's not them but I only hope it's not Emily. If it is I know what I have to do. I have to believe I am good enough with a bow to win in the arena to come home if I get reaped or Emily does and I volunteer. I'm at the fence, I climb over and run back to my house. I put on my outfit and help Emily and Jonathan get dressed. Our father is at at work but we'll see him at the reaping with the other parents. It is time and we head down to the square. I watch Emily as she goes to her place in the crowd. I can see her from where I stand I can also see the Capitol women perfectly. She goes on and on until she walks over to the first bowl. Cyndel Rainers volunteered for Tamara Liveson a 12 year old girl who's parents died in an accident and is now homeless so she sells jewelry to the citizens. I have one of her bracelets in my room at home. I'm glad she doesn't have to go into the games I wouldn't be able to kill her. But now I don't know if Cyndel will kill me. I might be able to make an alliance with her. She goes over to the next bowl and calls out "Emily Anderson" I see her start crying because she knows what's about to happen. She looks over with a pleading look in her eyes. I see her mouth "please don't volun-" I don't see the rest because I jerk my head toward the platform. I had hoped these words would never come out of my mouth but I knew I would if a time called for it "I VOLUNTEER AS TRIBUTE" I scream with as much force as I can muster. I see Emily start crying harder because she knew this would happen. She knew she was the reason I volunteered. I run up to the platform. "Victoria Anderson" I say before she can ask. I see Emily in the crowd crying harder than ever. When my family comes to visit. Emily looks so heartbroken. Jonathan, I think Emily told him what it meant for me to volunteer, is crying with Emily. Our father looks so upset because he already lost our mother he doesn't want to lose me too. But he won't I will win the games and come back to them. Emily takes off the the pink heart neckless, the last thing our mother gave to her, and hands it to me. "Be s-s-safe" is all she can say before she breaks into tears again. Their time is up. I am taken off to the Capitol to prepare for the the worst games to ever take part in. There is no winner. And to quote the saying we hear ever year "Happy hunger games! And may the odds be ever in your favor!"
Here in the peaceful tranquility of the woods, sitting on old railroad tracks overlooking a gorgeous lake of water, there was no place I'd rather be...
This really looks like it's from Virginia- the train tracks with my Blue Ridge mountains in the back <3

Norway's winding 'drunk bridge' The Bridge To Nowhere: 'The Atlantic Road' Storseisundet bridge in Norway
The Atlantic Ocean Road or the Atlantic Road (Norwegian: Atlanterhavsveien) is a 8.3-kilometer (5.2 mi) long section of County Road 64 that runs through an archipelago in Eide and Averøy in Møre og Romsdal, Norway. It passes by Hustadvika, an unsheltered part of the Norwegian Sea, connecting the island of Averøy with the mainland and Romsdalshalvøya peninsula. It runs between the villages of Kårvåg on Averøy and Vevang in Eida. It is built on several small islands and skerries, which are connected by several causeways, viaducts and eight bridges—the most prominent being Storseisundet Bridge. The route was originally proposed as a railway line in the early 20th century, but this was abandoned. Serious planning of the road started in the 1970s, and construction started on 1 August 1983. During construction the area was hit by 12 European windstorms. The road was opened on 7 July 1989, having cost 122 million Norwegian krone (NOK), of which 25 percent was financed with tolls and the rest from public grants. Collection of tolls was scheduled to run for 15 years, but by June 1999 the road was paid off and the toll removed. The road is preserved as a cultural heritage site and is classified as a National Tourist Route. It is a popular site to film automotive commercials, has been declared the world's best road trip, and been awarded the title as "Norwegian Construction of the Century". In 2009, the Atlantic Ocean Tunnel opened from Averøy to Kristiansund; together they form a second fixed link between Kristiansund and Molde.

Real Mordor Osorno volcano, Chile Osorno is one of the most active volcanoes of the southern Chilean Andes, with 11 historical eruptions recorded between 1575 and 1869. The basalt and andesite lava flows generated during these eruptions reached both Llanquihue and Todos los Santos Lakes. The upper slopes of the volcano are almost entirely covered in glaciers despite its very modest altitude and latitude, sustained by the substantial snowfall in the very moist maritime climate of the region.
