math fact card game

#### Grade Math, Math Games, Student, Math Ideas, Math Facts, Fact Games, Card, Fun Math, School Math

#### Spiral math game. Students roll, land on a card, and make an addition, subtraction, or multiplication sentence (using the number rolled and the number on the card).

#### Fun Math Fact Games Addition/Subtraction game. Students roll a dice, move that many spaces, add the number on the dice to the number card they landed on. Variations: +1/+2 dice. +10/+5 dice. How many more to make ten?

#### {Basic Math Facts Game} Glue cards on poster board. Label a start and finish. To play: Player rolls the dice move the number of spaces rolled and performs the operation of addition, subtraction, etc. (teacher chooses skill). The student must say the number sentence aloud to reinforce the practice and the other players confirm the answer. Student must land on end space to win.

#### Fun Math Fact Games - I can use these to enhance my students understanding of many math lessons.

#### Fun Math Fact Games- good idea to use those decks of cards that always seem to be missing a few.

#### Fun Math Fact Games May play two different ways. One way is that they start on the first card, roll and move the number of spaces on the cube and add or subtract the number card that they were on to the number card that they rolled. The other way is that they use the number on the die and add or subtract it to the card that they are on. If they are correct they then move the number that they rolled. I hope this clarifies it a bit.

#### Fun Math Fact Games... Could do with integer number sentences too with black card positive values and red cards negative. Also vary by putting negative values on number cube that you roll on each turn. Use a math station just vary operations to switch it up. Another game with the same board could involve writing unit fractions based on the card that you land on, and comparing to one-half or other benchmark fractions. Good for fluency games.

#### Place Value Game using UNO cards. Never thought of using these for math games. Can also be used for many other math games.

#### Place Value War with Uno Cards. Basically: Draw two cards from your pile, make the highest number you can, the person with the biggest number wins. The rest of the rules are just like the typical card game war.

#### Using UNO cards for Math games..... Place Value War. I like to have a place value chart ready made (say 3 places for hundreds.) turn over one card at same time as opponent, decide which slot to put it in. Then turn over next card choose where to put it...etc. Do this for as many place value spaces you decide to do. this way they try to get their lowest number in the ones place and highest number in the highest place value place.

#### Using UNO cards for Math games..... Place Value War. turn over one card at same time as opponent, decide which slot to put it in. Then turn over next card choose where to put it...etc. Do this for as many place value spaces you decide to do. this way they try to get their lowest number in the ones place and highest number in the highest place value place. Once a card is placed, they need to keep it there. Who ever gets the bigger number when all place value slots are filled, wins cards.
