Grout Cleaner Simply pour baking soda into a bowl and slowly add hydrogen peroxide until you have the consistency of paste. Spread it over the grout lines and press it in while you’re spreading. Then leave it for awhile. Then using warm water and a cloth simply wipe down the counters being sure to scrub the grout lines as you work.

home made grout cleaner. I don't know what got into me to actually try this today on my BLACK (used to be offwhite) grout in my kitchen and HOLY MOLY GUACAMOLE. This is utterly amazing. Baking Soda and Bleach paste, used a toothbrush and a few drops of water to make it more scrubby. The grime literally runs off.

Cost: Vinegar: $.12; Water: free; Ammonia: $.12; Baking Soda: $.25. Total Cost: $.50 per two bottles of cleaner, or $.25 per bottle of cleaner
