Banned Children's Books - Would you ban these picture books? Who banned Sylvester and the Magic Pebble!!!!!!

  • Angela Tremback

I loved all of these books growing up!

Sylvester and the Magic Pebble was one of my faves growing up, and I never noticed that the policemen were pigs. I can understand banning some books from public libraries. Nothing stops you from buying those books for your children. So many times, children's main contact with books is through their school library, and teachers are just not prepared to have delicate conversations with essentially other people's children.
