My dream home would have these in every room, only with bigger windows and prettier fabrics.

Cozy window nook-great for reading! I've seen the pins with closet reading nooks, which are great, but I just love reading in natural light. Maybe it's because it helps me stay awake :) but also it just puts me in a good mood.

narrow room? stripes play it up. put a visual stopper at the end of the room (daybed, window dressings, large chest of drawers). this will give your eye a stopping point and bring the end of a long room back toward you visually.

Please let me just curl up and stay here with my iPod and a couple books until spring.
