A striking pendant lamp, cast-iron sink and prized cherry-red Aga stove add extra character to this low-key Victorian kitchen. | Photo: Jim Westphalen | thisoldhouse.com Colors Vintage, Kitchens Brightening, Open Shelves, Vintage Kitchens, Thisoldhouse Com, Jim Westphalen, Kitchens Ideas, Cozy Kitchens, Farmhouse Kitchens
This is the most precious kitchen. It is the preciousest. The preciousness just radiates off of it. (I'd do the walls in a terra cotta, I think, to avoid the "hospital green" implication, but I think this works even with a shade of green of which I normally disapprove.)
We have a huge empty wall on the dining area of our huge eat-in kitchen. I want to do this, not green, and a bench instead of that drawer/shelving in the middle bottom. It would be SO awesome to make our dining room table feel like a built in breakfast nook with extra storage.
