Will you knock on the door or ring the doorbell? Glue magnets to the back of spiders and put on front door. Bought plastic spiders, magnet tape, can get from Walmart. Hot glued the tape to the back of the spiders and voila! Really creepy halloween door.

(THIS COMPLETELY GROSSES ME OUT, BUT IT'S SO PERFECT FOR HALLOWEEN DECOR!) Just glue magnets to the back of spiders and put on front door. I bought about a hundred plastic spiders from the target cheap-o section for $2.50. Then I got magnet "tape" from Joann Fabric for 80 cents. Hot glued the tape to the back of the spiders and voila! Really creepy halloween door.

wow- never thought of putting this on the inside of the door! I just had the same idea for fall leaves around my front door. I'll definitely try the garland for Christmas too!!

Spider Welcome Sign The front-door welcome sign is "spun" with chalk on a crafts-store blackboard in a ready-made frame; sticking plastic spiders onto woodwork with weather-stripping tack prevents damage to the finish and allows for easy removal.
