Rinse tomatoes well, if big, cut in half. Jam into jars along with garlic and fresh basil, add a generous pinch of salt on top, pour olive oil until air pockets are filled. Leave a little space at the top and close the lid if rubber, lightly screw on if not. Put in the oven, 110 degrees C, let it bubble until it looks boiled. Rubber ring lids can stay in the oven on after heat, screw lids are taken out to cool somewhat, and then screwed on tight and put back in on after heat.
