Website where students can upload photos of themselves and fill it with words about themselves and their interests

This is so neat. You upload a picture of yourself, and then add words and it makes this sort of thing. If we took the pictures and the computer teacher would let us do this in the computer lab, this could be really interesting. Maybe as a scrapbook accompaniment to the 8th grade project??

No more using the overhead!!! Silhouette making in 4 steps from a FREE website! Maybe for a "guess who" for open house? Or a parent gift?

Sillhouette Collage...Do their silhouettes and have them fill their heads with what's going on in their brain (what they like, think about, etc.). Can include writing assignment with the project.

I love having students think differently for "All About Me" activities, especially the older kids.

How to Restore a Whiteboard

to restore dry erase boards that are hard to erase: spray a clean board with wd40, wipe dry with paper towels. the wd40 fills in the dried pores of the board that hold in marker ink, making it easier to erase.

I love this website....great prompts for journals...I just add the image to my blog and students write each morning. There is a new prompt each day (some for older students). Very interesting topics
