This is a large project bundle that focuses on geometry concepts learned in 6th grade in particular, but also adaptable to fifth and seventh grades as well or even a higher level class. The bundle addresses an entire geometry unit covering some of the sixth grade common core geometry standards as well as some previous standards in geometry learned in 4th and 5th grades: vocabulary includes rays, lines, angles, perpendicular, parallel, acute, obtuse, straight angles.

This is a unit of homework/activities that deal with the common core standards on division for Grade 5. Each worksheet has the I can statements at the top (standards). There is an activity using the book Esio Trot as well as story problems for the division strands.

This is a packet aligned with the 5th grade common core standards dealing with adding and subtracting decimals. (It could be adapted and used with any concept). There are I can statements listed at the top. Directions for the task are also listed, as well as a section to brainstorm ideas together to get the students started.

This is a test prep practice that I use with my 6th graders. It covers the common core standards for 6th grade math. Each Rock it Out Review has 20 boxes with different quick questions that align with the standards. I give my students 5 minutes to complete the 20 boxes to see how many they complete in that time and who has the most correct. (Similar to a timed test).

This is an activity that aligns with the sixth grade common core standards dealing with proportions and ratios. These are story problems that relate to Alice and Wonderland and her eat me cakes and drink me drinks. All questions require proportions to show equivalant ratios and to find missing answers.
