Root Beer Float Ice Cream Cake

1 Cherries
1 tbsp Root beer extract or cherry extract

Refrigerated

2 Eggs

Baking & Spices

2 cup All-purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp Baking soda
1/2 cup Brown sugar
1 cup Cocoa powder, natural unsweetened
1 1/4 cup Granulated sugar
2/3 cup Powdered sugar
1 tsp Salt
1 pinch Salt
1 tsp Vanilla extract

Drinks

2 cup Root beer or cherry coke

Dairy

1/2 cup Butter, unsalted
3 cup Heavy whipping cream

Frozen

1 qt Vanilla ice cream

ROOTBEER FLOAT CAKE Recipe says to bake for 35-40 minutes, I baked it for about 55 minutes. The cake was pretty moist so I skipped the frosting and just served it with vanilla ice cream. It was a good chocolate cake - but you had to pause with a mouth full and really think about tasting the root beer.

Root Beer Float Cake-- I think it could be made into a round cake. The Fudge Root Beer frosting could be the filling and then it could be frosted with a vanilla butter cream and decorated with more of the chocolate filling and crushed root beer barrel candies. I'd love to try it! Good and tasty recipe. I'd leave it a little less lumpy, but it had a nice crumb
