Each student created 2 or 3 paper and oil pastel tridimensional pieces based on a template a created. After each pieces was assembled, I put them together in a Racimo (a banana bunch!), a hanging art piece.

aka using more junk to make art.    i have a ton of sheets and fabric in my room and we've been shredding them up and weaving them into thin cardboard, then adding oil pastel and tempera for embellishments. i'm always shocked at how many kids struggle w/ the "over under" concept, and shocked again at the kids who DON'T struggle, yet i expect to. :)    TGIF!!!!
