The Shadow of the Wind - Carlos Ruiz Zafon...in one word - AMAZING! This was one of my favorite reads.

I love Russian literature, I love Russian historical novels, Stachniak's book has not disappointed. Stayed up til 2am each night while camping in a tent in the rain at Airlie Beach with the children's soft breathing as background noise. Best holiday ever.

'Little Earthquakes' by Jennifer Weiner. One of her best. I'm not into 'chick' books at all, but Weiners stories are beyond the 'cheesiness' of a typical 'chick' story. Well worth the read.
