Low-Sugar, High-Protein Lemon Raspberry Muffins. Berries are finally in season! Pick up a pint, and make these moist and naturally sweet muffins. Healthy Banana-Blueberry Muffins--200 calories each. I changed a lot of this recipe actually; I had strawberries, so I used those instead of blueberries. I didn't have wheat germ on hand (who does?) so I used oatmeal instead (actually I used half a pack of instant oatmeal), and I used almond milk rather than 2%. They were so good! Excellent breakfast muffins with fruit and whole-wheat goodness.
orange muffins - yummm!! new bakers do NOT get put off by the sour cream: sour cream, buttermilk and Greek yogurt all help to make GREAT muffins! An afterthought: mini semi-sweet chocolate chips would be a great addition to the orange flavor (and kids would love them for breakfast).
