Every once in a while, it feels right to pull out the classics we read in high school. Tender is the Night is one of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s finest, and upon every subsequent reading, you pick up something new.
This is one of my favorite books of all time! It's such a heartfelt and profound story of a young boy growing up in apartheid S. Africa and how he grows into a talented boxer who fights for the end of the racism and opression in his country.
The Good: Massie's Catherine the Great is a great listen. It's a great story, nicely told. Mark Deakins captures Massie's fondness for his subject. I am not sure why producers of audio books do not invest in bilingual readers!
