Books Worth Reading / This book started my love for Judy Blume. I gave it to my niece on her 10th or 11th birthday- she graduates from high school this year- and it remains one of her favorites as well.

gripping.

Jodi Picoult-Plain Truth One of my fave movies and good book. This was also the first book I read from Jodi Picoult.

Not sure if this will end up being disturbing: Four years after Tom and Abby's 12-year-old daughter vanishes, she is found alive but strangely calm. When the teen refuses to testify against the man connected to her disappearance, Tom decides to investigate the traumatizing case on his own. Nothing can prepare him for what he is about to discover.

Teo's Holocaust survival story is unique. Such a beautifully written novel!

Tuesdays with Morrie: An Old Man, a Young Man, and Life's Greatest Lesson [Mitch Albom has this great way of writing about life lessons. One of my favorite books!]

Winter Garden by Kristen Hannah I loved it, but be ready to cry your eyes out. Another story about Russia.

Entering Eighth Grade, Book of Choice Option: The Secret Life of Bees by Sue Monk Kidd.

The Husband's Secret, Liane Moriarty - WOW, this is must read. Get ready to examine your conscience....

Water for Elephants. I listened to this audiobook while I was in Costa Rica riding the bus through the rain forest. So when I think about it, watch the movie, or tell people about it, I feel like I'm in Costa Rica again. It's so weird, but that's what happens.
