roasted roots; Edit 10/24: made this as a side to some pan-seared herbed chicken. We'd never had parsnips or turnips before, so it was an experiment, to be sure. Next time, I will leave out those two things (we weren't fans) and will instead use sweet potatoes and more carrots. I will probably cut back on the garlic, too, but really the fresh rosemary and thyme were perfect.
