"Color in a Bag" This "recipe" illustrates how to make your own colors, but you can also use tempera paint. I did this with my Kindergarten class and we practiced "writing" letters and numbers into our paint bags. You can also start with two primary colors in one bag and let your child squish them together to make a new color! Fun and clean!

Table Top Recycling Center for Kids. Garbage and recycling and their respective trucks are big hits at our house, as is Duplo. So I mixed the two together for a fun color sorting activity that went on and on ! The simplest things are usually the best. Activities like this mix imaginative play, color recognition, and counting and will appeal to a wide range of ages. You can change up the theme to fit your child’s particular interests too!
