Moss Dragon by Laura Diehl, a freelance illustrator who specializes in the genre's of children's illustration, fantasy illustration & science fiction illustration. All images are hand-painted digitally. Her work is known for its magical color, glowing light sources, & whimsical yet believable feel.

This dragon is what is commonly called a "Red Buldger" due to their unattractive lava colored eyeballs. This particular Red Buldger seems to be doing a good deed hoisting a buxom lass afloat. More likely she is an evil priestess who has bewitched him. Red Buldgers are rarely helpful, afterall.

"Temptation" by Heather Theurer | Author's note: "Another representational painting, 'Temptation' is the depiction of how temptation (the dragon) surrounds us, craftily attempting to find weakness. The woman in the painting, however, is aware and prepared with the sword of truth, shield of faith, a crown of virtue and the grace of God (wings). The red sash represents her willingness to sacrifice the appetites of this world to overcome and she stands upon the rock of Christ." | Fantasy art

Whoever put this majestic beast in a bottle and sent it to me in a box labeled DO NOT OPEN EVER, I love you.

Example of Art Nouveau in Riga : These scary beasts that you see on old buildings and even old churches are to frighten away bad spirits.
