~Some good tips for general cleaning of the washer. I always leave the washer door open when I'm done using it so it can dry. When I wash towels, I wipe down the rubber ring before I start the load. I use vinegar in place of fabric softner, so I get double duty since it also helps keep my machine clean. I also drain the overflow and clear that out, it gets a wet version of lint in there.
Step 1 was pretty basic. However, Step 2 made my washer super clean. I never knew that I could take apart pieces in the washer...boy was I surprised with the junk I found. Anyone who has boys or pets should definitely do this...or...anyone like me who hadn't done a serious cleaning of the washer since 2003!
