beauty...continuously drawn to Swedish simplicity. the colors of this cupboard..

I'm digging this whole look, it's country without being overwhelmingly so. Great turquoise armoire

I like the idea of having a contrast fabric pulled to one side over the straight drapery but would not be able to do if curtains pulled to one side without losing part of window. Adds a bit of drama though.

This is truly perfect. This is exactly how I would want some of my house to look like. Vintage decorations in rooms with walls and flooring that is reminiscient of the age it has acquired. Truly a house to call a home in which I would enjoy to the fullest.

Personal altar. Stacked books and an oil painting become the backdrop for this vignette of beloved objects placed with care.

Don't like the decor so much, but the room itself it great. Nice size, nice natural light.

my favorite color palette...black, white and natural. Yes it is pretty. (This is nice and elegant but I do like a little color - would put it in my accessories though. I probably wouldn't have a formal area like this because it doesn't match my style but I do love the idea)

I'm imagining how easy this would be to mod podge burlap onto drawer fronts and trim out with bamboo.
