    Army Chief Warrant Officer 3 Corey J. Goodnature Died June 28, 2005 Serving During Operation Enduring Freedom 35, of Clarks Grove, Minn.; assigned to the 3rd Battalion, 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (Airborne), Hunter Army Airfield, Ga.; killed June 28 when an MH-47 Chinook helicopter crashed while ferrying personnel to a battle against militants in eastern Afghanistan.

Died of drowning when his vehicle rolled into a canal during combat operations in Khosrow-E Sofla, Kandahar Province, Afghanistan.

    Army SPC. Robert A. Pierce, 20, of Panama, Oklahoma. Died June 3, 2013, serving during Operation Enduring Freedom. Assigned to 1st Battalion, 506th Infantry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), Fort Campbell, Kentucky. Died in Tsamkani, Paktia Province, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when his unit was attacked by a suicide vehicle-borne improvised explosive device.

Assigned to 2nd Battalion, 5th Special Forces Group (Airborne), Fort Campbell, Kentucky. Died in Lashkar Gah, Helmand Province, Afghanistan, of wounds sustained when insurgents attacked his unit with an improvised explosive device.

Faas Died August 6, 2011 Serving During Operation Enduring Freedom 31, of Minneapolis; assigned to an East Coast-based SEAL team; died Aug. 6 in Wardak province, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when the CH-47 Chinook helicopter in which he was riding was shot down.

    Army SGT. Justin R. Johnson, 25, of Hobe Sound, Florida. Died June 18, 2013, serving during Operation Enduring Freedom. Assigned to 10th Transportation Battalion, 7th Sustainment Brigade, Fort Eustis, Virginia. Died in Bagram AFB, Parwan Province, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when enemy forces attacked his unit with indirect fire.

    Marine Cpl. David M. Sonka., 23, of Parker, Colorado. Died May 4, 2013, serving during Operation Enduring Freedom. Assigned to 2nd Marine Special Operations Battalion, Camp Lejeune, North Carolinao. Died while conducting combat operations in Farah Province, Afghanistan.

    Army Capt. Jeffrey P. Toczylowski Died November 3, 2005 Serving During Operation Iraqi Freedom 30, of Upper Moreland, Pa.; assigned to the 1st Battalion, 10th Special Forces Group, Panzer Kaserne, Germany; died Nov. 3 from injuries sustained during combat operations in Anbar Province, Iraq.

    Army Pvt. Bobby Mejia II Died December 23, 2006 Serving During Operation Iraqi Freedom Saginaw, Mich.; assigned to the 1st Battalion, 125th Infantry, Big Rapids, Mich.; died Dec. 23 in Salman Pak, Iraq, of wounds sustained when an improvised explosive device detonated near their vehicle during combat operations.
