The Road (Cormac McCarthy). Understated and straightforward but written with beautiful language and some heartfelt moments. A dad and young son "carry the fire" to the coast in a post apocalyptic cannibalistic world.
Tuesday's with Morrie by Mitch Albom. I musnt have really cried while reading this book but yes I did feel empathy. There is so much to learn from Morrie. It makes you smile, sad as well as thankful to what you got

Angels and Demons is my favorite Dan Brown book. Also have read, The Da Vinci Code and The Lost Symbol. I feel that Dan Brown is an author who you just have to experience at some point along your reading journey.
