      Pressure canning dried beans

    • Lea Lyons

2/2/12 - Canned my own dried beans, I've been wanting to do this for years. It was pretty easy, I soaked for a day, drained, boiled for about 15-20 min, drained, put water in, and got to boiling again and then hot packed the jars. I'm excited to have done this, beans were bought in bulk from a farmer, so they were very cheap. Next up, I try it with black beans.
