One Day - I absolutely love this book! And the references to Thomas Hardy is a plus point!

Reading can take you to magical places :) reminds me of my sweet daughter...with her nose always in a book.

These books are wonderful for read aloud and children just starting chapter books. I like them to teach my children that the world wasn't always run by electronic junk... and asked questions like... what would you do today with no telephone? No car? I found it helped them look at their surroundings differently.

Series to read if you love the Hunger Games… well, at least the first book.
