I made this too! I found a picture of a rooster online. I printed it out on card stock paper. I traced it on wood, then used a jigsaw the cut it out. It was a little tricky to cut out, but I did it so I'm sure you could too! I then sanded it... I took a Kreg jig (if you dont know what a Kreg jig is, look it up! Its a must have with woodwork) and wood glue and attached it to another piece of wood as you see on the bottom.. I let it dry and then sanded the two pieces of wood where they come together so there wasn't a ridge. Painted it! Then I bent the spoon and fork in the shape of a hook and drilled a hole in each of them. For the mason jar I used barbed wire to hold it on! If that's not country then please tell me what is! Anyway, I drilled two holes in the wood behind the mason jar. I then wrapped the barbed wire around the mason jar and pulled it through the holes as tight as I could get it. I then bent the barbed wire over in the back, snipped it off leaving enough to staple it down so it doesn't move :) There you have it!
