      Grilled Brussels Sprouts (1/13/13) *I cut the sprouts in half before skewering to shorten grilling time. I also omitted the mustard and use an Olive Oil, Garlic Powder and Parmesan mixture instead. While grilling, I continued to apply the Olive Oil mixture to the sprouts with a pastry brush. I liked these so much that they've become a fairly regular veggie side.

    Cocktail recipe: Sweetest Death (a nod to sugar skulls) 2 oz lemon-flavored vodka 2 drops orange-flavored bitters Very healthy splash of blackberry juice Club soda Blackberries Rim short bar glass with Dell Cove Spice Co.'s Midnight Black cocktail rim sugar. Fill with ice. In cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine vodka, blackberry juice and bitters. Shake vigorously, and then strain into rimmed glass. Top with club soda and garnish with berries.
