DIY fabric softener. The smell wasn't very strong, so I doubled the conditioner. It works just as well as store bought. See my altered recipe below 6 C. hot water 1 1/2 22oz bottle of Sauve conditioner 3 C. white vinegar Mix conditioner & water in container till conditioner is dissolved. Add vinegar and mix well. Use Downy ball or approx 2 tbsp. *I use an old 170oz fabric softener container. Doubled won't fit, so I do about 1cup less water for it to fit. It fills it to the brim!*

Homemade fabric softener - I absolutely LOVE this! Works better than Snuggle, IMO - I did have an extremely faint smell of vinegar in my bath towels (not in the hand towels, washcloths, or any other article of clothing) I used Suave - since you can buy one bottle for a dollar - but really, you maybe save about two dollars....I would still choose this over store bought any day.
