Pho Ga (Vietnamese chicken noodle soup) once you've eaten this, you will crave it. So Yummy!

The broth for beef phở is made by simmering different cuts of beef and oxtails with charred onion and ginger and sweet spices such as Saigon cinnamon, star anise, black cardamom, coriander seed, fennel seed, and clove.

First I enjoyed a bowl of this at Bam Bu a local Vietnamese restaurant. Then I used this recipe & made a pot at close as it could possibly be except I had to omit the "coagulated pork blood" due to the last of stock at my local mega mart. haha

Crock Pot Pho (Vietnamese Beef Noodle Soup): made this broth overnight on 1/23/14. Easy peasy. Reheated, adjusted the flavor with fish sauce on 1/25/14 and ate two bowls for lunch. YUM-o. I'm in love with this recipe.

On a cool and rainy day a steaming hot bowl of Pho would really do the trick! Must try this recipe!
