book for pattern: last minute knitted gifts; love the colors, chevron scarf

    • DLJE

Quick knit for gifts. Julie Frick, of Fricknits has been posting about this scarf that she just finished. The color combinations are just fantastic. She combined two verigated yarns in an unexpected way for beautiful results. I never would have been drawn to the stitch pattern of this scarf, but I can’t stop thinking about the colors. The Chevron Scarf pattern is from 'Last-Minute Knitted Gifts' by Joelle Hoverson.

Interesting set-up for socks. You do the top of the foot first, then a short row toe, and finally you work the bottom of the sock in stockinette picking up stitches along the edges. Hoffnungangestrickt by steffilinden, via Flickr.
