Depoe Bay, Oregon. Depoe Bay was named for Native American William Charles "Charley" DePoe of the Siletz Indian tribe (or by some accounts "Depot" Charley" after the Siletz Depot). In 1975, the fishing trip sequence in "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" was filmed at Depoe Bay. It is a truly Great Place!
