Use them in descriptions of projects or how to find something in the library. Instead of just being a teacher language, these words would be more beneficial if they are being used in as many places as possible in the school, including online.

A discussion about the reasoning of giving your students 'spanish names'.
Students Spanish, Eye Open, Kids Pick
A really interesting debate... but I still let kids pick "French" names. It avoids repeats in English names (3 Taylors in a class, etc.), they get practice with listening and pronunciation to start and they truly enjoy it. In fact, if I call them by their "real" name, they know they're in real trouble and it kind of freaks them out. :)
A discussion about the reasoning of giving your students 'spanish names'.-Hmm, this is very eye opening, I'll be pondering whether or not to use Spanish names next year for the rest of the weekend!
