I read this book during a transitional phase in my life. It helped me create the roadmap for my next steps.

A very unconventional love story, but one of my favorites. Its sequel, Belong to Me, is in my top 5 all-time favorite books.

I borrowed (and subsequently kept*) this book before my trip to Egypt. This read was as life-changing as that trip was. If "Rules for Renegades" was the roadmap to the destination, then CCO was the outline for what to do once I got there! *I had permission to keep it :-)

very good book and I wanted to read the next one (Something Blue), but I hate that its in Darcy's point of view!!!

This book actually found me... I was looking for something to read that wasn't like the books I normally read (Marketing, Self-Help, Nerdy stuff...) So this came at just the right time, with the right dust cover :-) I will admit that it was slooow at the beginning, but as you dig deeper into the book - all the things I thought were slow, were SO perfect with the rest of the book. By the end I couldn't turn the pages fast enough to get to the end. Very good surprise ending!

I think because I am a fan of Jay-Z and Dream Hampton... that I am supposed to like this book. That's not looking good right now... I'm still reading it, but it feels like I'm reading 'Hood Shakespearean Prose' ---- and that's not a compliment. Putting it down for a minute to focus on Red Queen... Jury's still out.

I have this on iPad, and have been picking it up here & there. Love #MarvinGaye but David Ritz writing is a bit dry. Unlike #Irene

The ultimate romance. Smart, funny, reserved... filled with mixed messages, confusion, longing, all underscored by love and a sense of duty.

The Pilot's Wife. Kind of silly and predictable, but entertaining.

#Irene has given me a reason to catch up on my reading. Here's one I picked up at the Harlem Book Fair a few weeks ago.

2011 Book List|Many worthwhile books to read. I've already read a lot of them, but they are all worth a second read.
