This is from "The Complete {Photo} Guide to Making Your Own Homemade Laundry Detergent"- I've been making my own liquid laundry detergent for about a year, and this is the best, most concise, EASY recipe I've come across on the web. For pennies a load, it is a eco-friendly, cheap, no fuss recipe that gets your clothes clean, in hard or soft water. It works in front loading HE machines too! Need more convincing? Research it, tweak the recipe to make it work for you. But it works.

Thousands of people have tried this recipe, and it seriously is The World’s Best Homemade Laundry Detergent – There is a tutorial and free printable on how to gift if to friends/family. #chickabug #howdoesshe

Just made up my first two gallon batch of this stuff. Was pretty easy to do. Just completed a load of whites..including Rick's really grungy mowing socks...everything came out looking great. I've got supplies to make TONS more of it, too..so if subsequent laundry loads come out as well...will be washing for pennies and shouldn't need to buy detergent for a LONG time! I'm thinking this might be more manageable! Homemade laundry detergent
