I like this idea - "Third grade biography project. Student becomes the historical person when presenting their poster." Would also work for characters during a book report!

Reading in social studies. 3rd Grade biography project. Have the student choose a president, read about them, and create a character poster with a cut out and have them dress up as that President.

Third Grade Pizza Box Biography Reading Response…Pinner wrote: I've used pizza boxes to make games before, but this is a terrific way to use them. A Living Biography Project (wax museum). I love teaching biographies. This year, I had my students create poster board "costumes" as a culmination to the biography research projects. This packet contains everything you need to have your students complete a project of their very own to present in class or at a Living Biography Museum.

Biography Poster Report - this is probably aimed towards younger children than I will be teaching, but I still really like this idea :)

biography book project, could be done with sketches if we didn't have a Cricut handy!
