Split and braid your hair into two sections and tie with a rubberband. Twist the braid away from your face and then twist the flat iron onto your hair in the same direction your hair is twisted. Do not touch rubberband or else you will get that weird crease. Repeat this process twice! After hair is cooled, then take them out and run your fingers through the braid. Saw this on Rachel Ray Show. It gives you nice beachy waves!

How to create waves with a flat iron. #sallybeauty #ad

Curls for short hair ... Tried it! ♥ed It! I used a 1" flat iron and kept the same principles. If your hair is stubborn when it comes to curling turn your iron around the hair section all the way (as apposed to the 1/2 way mark that it usually takes to get a curl.) Also smaller sections = A messier look. :D

Wavy Curls

Wake up with a head full of soft, bouncy wavy curls by preparing your hair the night before. This tousled waves look is simple, and not harmful on your hair because you're "cold styling" it rather than applying heat to manipulate your hair.

purple// I love this subtle color!!! I don't have a job where my hair needs to be a regular color.. I would love to have this length and the waves too!
