Got some extra time in the kitchen? Make your own dog treats! Your dog will love them AND you'll know exactly what goes into them.
INGREDIENTS: 2 cups whole wheat flour; 1 cup rolled oats; 1 tablespoon dried or 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (this helps give doggies fresh breath); ½ cup nonfat dry (powdered) milk; ½ teaspoon salt 2 large eggs; 1 cup peanut butter; ½ cup or more cold water 300 F - mix flour, oats, parsley, milk powder, salt, add egg and peanut butter, then drizzle water, roll dough out, then cut into dog cookies. Bake for 25-40 minutes.
