Working to get my hair this long to donate. I've always wanted to do, but always end up cutting it all off it becomes unhealthy. But, after keeping it trimmed regularly I'm slowly getting to my goal!

Vintage Vixen How to by the Beauty Department TOOLS: small barrel curling iron (we used 5/8″), sectioning clips, silver 2-prong setting clips, 2 clear elastics, large bobbypins, a large soft bristled flat brush, comb, hairspray, and a headband--dosen't look to hard

.... this could potential require an entire box of pins, but I love this MESSY bun!

The hair style is nice but I think this is what I am hoping to get done on Saturday at my hair appt. I'd like some nice blonde highlights.

First backcomb your crown section to give it some height, don't worry if it's messy, that's the look. * Next, take the two front sections of your hair and twist them, and as you do, collect all the hair from each side your head, so you're left with two ponytails. * Finally collect all your hair at the nape of your neck and twist into a bun before securing with bobby pins! * Spray with hairspray to give it some hold! Voila!

I perfected this 'do' in the Army. Use knee socks for a bigger bun and just snip the toe off. Also, use the same color as your hair if possible.
