Mercurochrome, our Neosporin if you were a kid in the 70's! I remember this!

Mercurochrome... If you read the words above and cringed then you know exactly what I'm talking about! It came in a little bottle with a cap that served as a dropper or just had a stick on it. It was this reddish orange color that stained everything it touched including your skin for days. And it was what my mom used on every cut or scrape throughout my childhood. Just the mention of it brought tears to my eyes.

Mom went through a LOT of this, untangling my hair sunday nights after a bath, while watching Ed Sullivan!

Tickle Deodorant - I used to love seeing this on the shelves at the store. I always thought I'd buy it when I was old enough.

Remember this stuff? We'd rather have this stuff than the iodine that burned like fire when applied. I believe its banned now because as the names says it has mercury in it..

really miss this. I remember using this stuff at my old best friend Sandy's house in the 80s and then they re-did the bottles in the late 80's and poof it went...

My Mom, Grandma and Aunts sat under one of these with curlers in their hair when I was little. I always loved watching them fix their hair.

Queen Buzzy BeeFrom onelatenight - I remember having one of these as a kid. Is it bad that I want to have it now? #vintage #children #toys

Kaleidoscope. We just bought one like this at a thrift store. Brought back memories.

The only time I could talk to my friends during class was when getting out a book from the under desk shelf.

Oh man do I remember this stuff!!! Very cool stuff to use in the 70s!

Fisher Price Little People Schoolhouse...I LOVED this set. Loved the playground too and my "kids" had alot of recess... Has a bell in the belltower that DINGS when you push the button on top.
