I ended up touching it up with white paint to perfect the lines. It's a great piece of artwork though and it gets tons of compliments. Put masking tape on canvas in the design of your choice, spray paint a base color over the tape, use different acrylic colors (like $1.50 or less for a tube at Michael's or Hobby Lobby) and paint different strokes all over canvas. Wait till it dries, then remove tape and...wa la!
